"Stimulus" Watch in New York Congressional District 1
A government website, www.recovery.gov, reveals the "stimulus" money spent so far, from the bill our current representative voted for. Here are screenshots of the projects that were supposed to create jobs in our District:
$11,150,000 awarded to a Colorado company for work to be done on an EPA ordered remediation in Port Jefferson.
$286,000 awarded to a Massachusetts company for work done on the Patchogue Ferry Terminal.
$69,067 awarded to a Rhode Island company for archeological services in Shirley.
$485,560 awarded to a Syracuse company for design services.
$133,351 awarded to a Massachusetts company for design services.
$49,723 awarded to a Massachusetts company for design services and replace bulkheads.
$414,250 awarded to a Syracuse company for a hydraulic crane in Holtsville.
$1,196,484 awarded to a South Carolina company for work in Calverton.
$997,273 awarded to an Illinois company for work in Shinnecock.
